About this website

Purpose

  • This website serves as a personal genealogy record
  • for the family of Joanne Dunn and William Francis Gaffey

  • composed by their son, John Gaffey.

This project started October, 2011 shortly after Dad entered the Nursing Home.
It is a quest for identity and purpose.

Who are my people?

I need to find them before ancestral knowledge is lost.

What is the best way to account for them?

I need at least a name, a face and how we are related.

Where can I find information and family photos?

Visit relatives; ask Mom
Family Photo Albums
Face Book
Obituary Columns

How can I best collaborate with other Family Members?

After 6 years of research, scanning, tinkering, Face Book networking, programming, screen scraping and curating family image files,

We have a framework for storing and naming family artifacts (this website).
Still much work needed to collect content.
Please Upload Family photos to ensure all members and families are well represented.
Help us keep abreast / catch up on missing obituaries, photos and family members.
Stories and family related news clippings and research are also welcome.

Cheers to Family!

John Gaffey

Once you can find your family members on a Family Tree Diagram
and plot their coordinates (FAM ID and IND ID) then you have a secure place
to store all their stuff - demographic information and digital photographs.
